These are published reception hours, with any stated exceptions below. Check the official notice before you travel. A goshuin records a visit to a sacred place; allow time to pay your respects as well. How receiving a goshuin works →
When a shrine does not publish goshuin hours, this guide says so. A gate-opening time or a phone-office window is not substituted for a seal desk.

What happens at each desk
Desk 01
Senso-ji

Apply at Yogo-do (影向堂), west of the main hall — on your left when facing the hall. The temple offers a seal for its principal image and one for Daikoku-ten of the Asakusa Seven Lucky Gods. This office also serves Senso-ji's Edo thirty-three Kannon and Bando pilgrimage affiliations.
Reception is 8:00–16:30. New Year and Shimanrokusennichi use special hours; the goshuin page does not give those exceptional times. The main hall opens earlier and closes later than the usual goshuin window, so plan separately for the office.
The current official goshuin page does not state the fee or whether the seal is written into a book or supplied on paper. Confirm both at the office. Free entry to the temple does not mean a free goshuin.

Kanda Myojin

The shrine's online amulet office lists a pre-written goshuin sheet at ¥500 and says that a handwritten version is unavailable for that offering. The current on-site fee and writing arrangements were not confirmed in the official sources checked; the online listing is not a guarantee of counter service.
The shrine's published 2026 schedule gives the general amulet counter and cultural hall hours as 9:00–18:00 from 17 January onward. A separate current goshuin reception time and regular seal desk were not established. Ask shrine staff about the service on your visit before planning around this stop.

Yushima Tenmangu

Goshuin reception is 9:00–19:00, but writing directly into a goshuincho ends at 17:00. The shrine's current goshuin notice distinguishes these two cutoffs.
Special goshuin are supplied on paper and cannot be written into your book, even before 17:00. The notice allows one of each design per person.
For September 2026, the shrine's official X posts list a limited regular-size design at ¥500 and a limited cut-paper design at ¥1,000. These are the prices of those September designs, not a permanent price list. The posts do not promise availability through the end of the month; check the current notice for your visit.

Tokyo Daijingu
東京大神宮

The seal office (朱印所) is open 9:00–17:00. The shrine's official X account confirms that its regular Tokyo Daijingu seal is ¥500, available either on paper or written directly into a goshuincho.
The shrine's own books are ¥1,500, or ¥2,000 with its seal already included. The book price and the fee for a seal are separate choices.
The September 2026 Choyo seasonal seal is ¥700, offered from 1 September in a limited quantity and ending when stock runs out. This price applies to that design; it is not a price for every seasonal or subsidiary-shrine seal.
New Year has separate reception hours and paper-only periods. Read the shrine's dated New Year notice if you are planning a holiday visit.
